Born and raised in rural, New South Wales, Garnet’s dream of becoming a racing driver began at the age of 3, when he found himself spending weekends at the race track watching his father race his historic charge touring car. From there, it didn’t take long before he was old enough to get his hands dirty and start helping his father prepare his charger for his race meetings.
Garnet got his first taste of driving in a go kart at the young age of 5. His Uncles farm provided great opportunity to gain good kart and car control techniques in a safe and enjoyable environment. At 11 years of age, Garnet was given the opportunity to race a go kart at the local kart track in Tamworth and instantly knew from that day on – this was a passion he wanted to pursue.
To date, Garnet now has multiple championships under his belt, and is proving himself highly competitive on the international stage.
